                                                              Gender Gap In The US

Throughout world history, society has had a huge gender gap due to society law and cultural law as well. We have instilled into our mind the fact that women aren't capable of doing what men can do. It is okay to us to disparage women because we consider them more emotional, more incompetent, and more arrogant then men are. The only reason their is a difference is because of the portrayal that we have towards them are totally different. It is okay because most cultures and traditions consider women the weaker gender compared to men and since many abide by their own culture, it is considered socially okay.
If I become an owner in my own business, I would pay both genders the same wage depending on their past experience. I would not consider gender as an excuse to pay smaller because statistically, paying higher will give higher performance. My opportunities are unaffected as I am a male but seeing females get paid less certainly does not make me feel comfortable. As a member of a majority-filled female house, I have come to the ultimate conclusion that women can do the same and much more than women themselves.
